thankful and amazed!
personally, i was really really ministered during the CF camp, to see God at work is just so so overwhelming..
i was really encouraged by the girls, their sensitivity to God and their servant's heart and attitude is exemplary
as i read through their reflections, i really really pray that the Lord will continue to mold and speak to them, that it'll be a beginning of a closer walk with God - It's something only God can do :) most of them wrote about a keen resoluteness to read the bible and to spend time in prayer
Eunice came to the camp too and hit it well with Gloria, Jos and Issie.. haa.. you should have seen their hands, all autographed by each other - i can see that Eunice is more serious in her walk yay.. go Eunice go! *go where?*
Ps Sam wore a beanie throughout the sharing... haa - Lord, i know that this man is greatly used by You, please continue to reveal Yourself to him, that he'll continue to bless others :)
on the last night of the camp, i was held up in the toilet, talking to a lovely girl for over an hour so the girls were managing the packing up in the sanctuary. Pris (the camp "commandment) was suddenly very overwhelmed by the awesomeness of God. she gathered a few girls (about 7) and shared what was in her heart.
They started praying, repenting of their small view about God. some were crying and confessing their sins. Pris called me at about 12:10am to join them (i was still talking to the girl) and we continued till 1:35am.
There were visions and prophecies.. God spoke through each and everyone of us.. we stopped cos we know that we still need to run the camp the following day.
God is at work in the life of the girl (whom i was talking in the toilet - toi toi).. last sunday when i saw her, she was really so joyous. She shared with me of her vision she saw from God (we prayed for her on the last day of camp) that there were many black spots in her heart and that God is slowly removing them.
Lord, I'm really amazed.. so amazed..
will not blogg for a while..
will be helping out in G04th and then will go to the bangkok le..

afflictions
psalms 119:71 "it is for my good that i have been afflicted"
these few days have been pretty tough due to some stuff at work. the smss cf girls and myself have been learning that it is indeed for our good to have certain troubles or problems which i think God allows, to mould us and sharpen us.
i mean to learn certain values in theory is good but to truly exercise them, to learn then in practice is even more worthwhile and meaningful (eventhough more heart-wrenching) but I reckoned that it'll stay even longer

right now the girls are having amazing race ard singapore and i'm here in the office with aircon!
ha.. just gave a call to each group to find out how things are
called eve of group "tranformed" and gloria of group "shine" and bluffed them that the rest of the teams are back already - ha
oh then called Isabella of group "!" to find out how things are and she said "bad" - that the group's answers are not congruent .. she sounded pretty distressed...
hopefully they'll all bond thru the games :) yay
yoyo ma
watched yoyo ma's dvd "down the stairs" last night (borrowed from auntie eileen) - wah so inspiring! when can i play like him?
with my cello's 'chicken-feet-scratching-against-the-glass' standard, i think it's a loooong way
btw, eunice said something funny. after once seeing how inspired i was by yoyo ma, she wittyly decided to call me yaya hui..

Wellington Rocks!
went to wellington primary to speak at a GB/BB camp on the 28 may05 :) about 40 children who are really articulate, hyper and interactive!
Spoke to Mrs Elsie Lim, the principal. Was really encouraged by her. She said that the BB/GB company is the 4th one she helped to set up. She made it a point to start one whenever she goes to a new shool
woah :) Rachel and Enoch went too.. taught them about Jesus' style of leadership - with the punchline i heard some time back "pple dun care how much you know until they know how much you care!"
basically leadership is servanthood.. if not, it'll be tyranny -ha
Movies!
caught Kingdom of heaven last last tuesday :) thought that it was quite okay.. before the movie started, we were telling each other to lower our expectations. for those who missed it, dun worry.. missed nothing much - ha
(it's about this guy balian of ibelin who travelled to Jerusalem during the crusades of the 12th century.he soon finds himself the defender of the city and its people)
albeit orlando bloom wasn't a wimp (in troy) this time round, i think he lacks that heroic aura to pull him thru this role - not convincing enuff
"the king has no need of a perfect knight" .. when i heard that - was just so reminded about our relationship with God.. i mean He doesn't need us to lead the best community praise session, the best well-thought- prayer, all He wants is faithfulness on our part.
talked to a sec 4 youth today about how some of the other 2nd generation christians youth are behaving in a manner which just simply reflects their shallow-ness and lack of respect for self. Even new comers and new believers' learning and positive attitude easily surpass our present church 2nd gen youths' couldnt-care-less- eyes-rolling-mouth-can't-stop-talking lousy attitude.
i'm putting this here not to be judgemental but the bible does tell us to judge ourselves, as i'm writing this, i'm also reflecting if there's areas in my life which need to be changed, lest i get complacent and miss out the destiny God has for me.
today Xing wei and Sam shared a common topic in their testimonies about their recent mission *explosive* trip :) keeping the faith and living by faith :) i'm glad that they're like learning so much.

Thio Li-ann came to share, every point she shared was so concise and sharp! thought it was like a 6-in-one sermon which just jabbed my heart over and over again. you know, just like wad the Bible stated, that the Word of God is like a double-edged sword which pierces through the hearts and souls of men
at the end of the sharing, i was just so broken before the Lord. The week was really tough with some issues at work but i kinda think that at the end of it all, is God being glorified? do i give up my rights? it's such a difficult decision to make...
when it's all been said and done
.. did i live my life to live for truth, did i live my life for You?
