just received news that the blood cloth at the back of his head has dispersed! wow

had a good sushi meal with eunice, grace, vincent, liwei, zongren, karene, ben, susan, nick n bert - hee.. the guys ate 53 plates of sushi, whereas the girls ate just 22 plates of sushi.. ha

THANKSGIVING!! Yipee :)
remembered that i told you that auntie Siew Eng blessed me with $700 to pay for my air ticket for lijiang mission trip?
today after narnia, she told me that GOD blessed her back with the exact amount!
her whole family (5 in all) took a flight back from NZ cos they went there for a holiday
then for some reasons, 2 of their seats were upgraded to business class!!! woah
so marc n shane (her sons) went for them
but the TV at their business class seats couldn't work
so siew eng n her hubby took the seats instead cos they wanted to read
before they left, the air steward said the airline was sorry abt the faulty TVs
and that they'll get vouchers of US 200 each per seat for compensation!
this means, they'll get US $400 and when converted, it's 700 sing dollars!
it's the same amount given to me for my ticket!
GOD IS AT WORK man! :) hee
NARNIA's a blast! really like the show.. really depict the triumphant victory of CHRIST! :)

broke his crown - sigh
just returned from NUH - was there visiting Yizhe (5 years old) who had a fracture in his skull due to a fall at home. blood is accumulating at the right side of his head. After the CT scan, parents were advised to allow him to undergo an operation. PLEASE PRAY that it wont clog n that the blood will just dispersed.
he was quite funny when we visited him, saying that we need not come cos he'll be going home! wa, self-discharging himself ...
brought the shark toy, fries games and lightsticks.. he was like so happy to be playing.. ha.. i guess one of the best therapy with children is to just PLAY with them.
He'll still lower his head to rest once in a while cos he gets dizzy spells but then he'll be put again playing...
yesterday, the neurosurgeon came by again and said he is 90% sure that Yi Zhe wont need an op! THIS IS GOOD NEWS! PRAISE GOD! :)
on a lighter note, will be watching NARNIA later. heee

Rev Barry commented that he think you all did well, he shared that there was this passerby who told him very confidently that these are MUST BE St Margaret's girls cos they were confident, good performers and they speak very well (pris n ashley)!

i'm going to be sooooo dead later at work!
4.05 am and i'm still hyper..
a funny conversation took place on my way back on the plane from kunming...
(after being really restless, hide n i just started talking nonsense till he couldn't tahan it)

Praise God for giving us great weather! wow, it was like grey clouds but we really prayed and our faithful GOD answered as usual.

having a packed schedule presently - hardly anytime for a breather
so far, i've been to 3 retreats
has been trying to settle all the children's camp stuff, retreats, ccis practices and planning before i leave for kunming..
glad that i can sneak some reading time in between traveling time
been reading the biography of john sung - borrowed it from karen - hee
very impressed and inspired by his prayer life, resoluteness and sharpness
will blog more
haven't been sleeping much lately
so jolene - "lassitude" is a word to describe my present mental state.. nothing really chim about that!
shared about the topic "God sees the heart!" during smss cf retreat
as i share it, God spoke to me in many many ways -
God to Cain - "beware, sin is crouching at the door of your heart..."

will be going for joshua 21 fever - looking foward to that
jackie pullinger will be sharing :) read her book "chasing the dragon" 3 times! ha :) really cool book - going to lend mellissa. hope it'll bless her..

it's snowing in zhongdian/lijiang/kunming.. woah, i hope i can withstand the cold :)

GOD PROVIDES!
i've not been able to save much for the kunming trip cos have been paying the home installments, bills and all and the recent trip to bkk missions simply just swiped out my savings! woah..
the very day (a saturday) whereby i had needed to pay for the ticket (no money at all), i prayed to God in the morning and really asked the LORD for provision.
sent an sms to Hide and asked if he could help me pay first while i'll pay in installments.
he replied ok without hesitation :)
that very afternoon, i went for I-touch, a course, met auntie siew eng and we started talking about child psychology, her studies, my studies, ANYTHING BUT THE TRIP.
and out of the blue, she just asked if i needed any funds for the trip.
I WAS STUNNED!
serious, dumbfounded ...
and i was just talking to GOD about it in the MORNING!
GOD ANSWERS PRAYER!
to cut the whole story short, she gave me a cheque next day - that settled my air ticket.
YIPPEE!
*vincent is sitting right beside me, singing "I will SWING of the mercies of the LORD forever I will swing ... with my mouth will i make known, Thy faithfulness " and playing jazz drums in the air - hilarious
and he's drinking milk! eeeeeeeeewwwwwwww... better go, he needs to PC :)*
