was having dinner with my mom that day and i asked her a super random qn: -
yahui: mom, am i your real daughter?
mom: no
yahui: *shocked* why
mom: you had jaundice when you were really young and had to go for a blood transfusion so the blood in you is not entirely mine

gloria and joscelyn - you girls did well for the church choir... they sang in LATIN! woah.. glo-- ri-- a
was really busy this week... busy eating! aiyoh
mon - dinner with the ZD/LJ team and had crabs!
tues - sushi dinner with eunice, joyce, arnold, simon and susan :)
fri - marina bay steamboat with cell
sat - went to rev dr tan's place (my greek lecturer and family group mentor's place) for lunch
sun - granny's plc for dinner
die ... i still feel stuffed!
4 more weekly tests and one greek paper and i'll finish all the greek stuff yay
now i can read and roughly translate greek - hee ... wad a change for just 8 months.. Praise GOD
bernard's now go his way to get a 'new' tv.. passed down from my auntie's bro-in-law. right now, my tv's into the festive mood, everything's in shade of pink n red. sometimes it'll turn normal- ha
stella: if you visit, i'll surely make time - hee
sandi: glad u like it. the dvd's really cool - only had time to watch it ONCE. haa - wad a waste.

sandi: nope, didn't get all the freebies .. hmm, dun really want them either cos dun really need them. think will throw them away eventually so no point getting them.. hee. kinda enjoy the album on the whole. the song "pride" is pretty cool

then i went for the 10th Anniversary dinner at Sun-tec city ballroom and was stuck in the jam in basement2 for nearly 1 hour! woah..

caught the movie "fearless" with bernard and liping today :)
finally understood why it was NC16 cos some shots were just so gruesome. liping and i were eeking throughout
the funny thing was that there was this old granny who sat beside me with her son (early 50s i think). when the show started, she began commenting on the stuff which was happening on screen
eg - it showed "1900 shanghai" and she went "wah.. shanghai ar, shanghai ar.." (in cantonese)
was pretty amused by that and kinda told myself that I would have a cantonese commentor throughout the movie. well not that bad eh
then halfway through the show, i heard snoring from her - was further amused!
and she woke up in the middle of a fight between Jet Li and some giant tall angmo and she exclaimed "pa ka ee si! pa ka ee si! " meaning "beat him till he dies!" oh man.. i was controlling myself not to laugh out loud in a middle of a gory and disgusting fight scene.. almost felt like i was watching 2 movies
told bernard and liping after the old granny and her son left their seats and they were laughing like mad..
oh well :) enjoyed the show despite the gory scenes .. kept telling myself that it is JUST a show, thought it had values.. hmmm... jet li "the greatest enemy is yourself" ooohh......
bought a bag (maroon n purple!) and ayumi's new CD.. went to 3 CD shops and got the best price. hee .. bernard helped me with it
was preparing for tmr's CF teaching and i came across this.. pretty interesting. think the guy would need surgery or some relaxants if his mouth is really like that
