it's been a hectic period but i know that GOD's always sustaining me...
programme for the next 2 months at a glance: -
- 5 retreats (CF Adult mentors, CF committee, LJOY retreat, Staff retreat and SJCp Church Leaders' )
- 2 camps (Children's Camp, "Just say it!" SJCp Youth Camp)
- trip (thailand)
- TTC assignments due (reading list, youth ministry portfolio, oral history project and primary data research)
- CCIS 2006 (:
- Doulos visits (children and youth)
- speaking at a youth camp...

Alvin and Shuping's wedding :) shuping's my NYP classmate -we took our dip in community services management and is one of the sweetest person I've ever know. She's nicknamed "swayie" cos when she walks, she SWAYS!

wat a cute stray kitty! it followed eunice and me for about 200 metres i think. we were on our way home. it was meowing hungrily - awwwww...
p.s. lucilla has a pet cat!!!
2 harpists came by for TTC chapel! it sounded so heavenly and dreamlike..nearly zzzz..not that it was boring but that it was just toooo soothing...

dear cf girls --- today Rev Ong from SMPS chaplaincy called to inform that we can go to SMPS on the 3rd November (next thursday) instead of the 26th :) ! yeah! so this means we all can go since it's the holidays!
Event: SMPS Chapel Visit
Theme: Our GOD is GREAT!
Time: 10am - 2pm (meet in SMSS first)
what we have in mind is
1) CP team
2) Bible story on ppt ppt (some one to narrate the story and some to act also)
3) publicity about SMSS CF

last night someone shared this with me and i was so touched. after being a lesbian who struggled with emotional dependency for 15 years and had 6 relationships, she turned to GOD for help and supportive Christians to walk out of it. She said this concluding statement in tears "if you fall, it's okie. just get up. but you lose, if you fall and you stay there". I sense such a strong sense of bittersweet victory she has in Christ when she said that; that this victory didnt come easy but when it came, it was worthed the pain and effort. I wonder how many of us truly understand the extent of God's everlasting love and our need to respond to Him in utmost gratitude and love.

[gloria] hihihi..yea, need injections :) won't be 3.. just 2.. we'll be taking pills for malaria - if not go there get sick then can't serve le :)
I'm on mc today and tmr cos of sinus inflammation and fever.. yesterday after enduring TTC's history of Christian Mission lecture (not that it was boring but that i feeling so unwell), dragged myself to the clinic and realised that i was running a fever of 38.9 degree celsius and my back was in much pain. walked really slowly alone back home, think every step was GOD's grace ...
was talking online with Denise (my dear childhood church friend) the day before. a few weeks back, she shared how tough it was at work and so she had decided to quit her job. Last week, she went to the dentist to remove 2 wisdom teeth and 2 other teeth and the dentist just asked if she'll like a job at this big accounting firm cos his cousin over there needs someone for the job! wah.. when she told me, we marvelled at how GOD worked! i mean, she didn't even need to look for jobs :) praise GOD
went out with with Deqi past monday to HV to celebrate her bday.. went to Breko and we saw Taufik. Deqi was quite excited. haa.. after that we went to essential brews and had brownies which were pretty disappointing..
God has been sending different people to encourage me :) like wow!!!
