praise GOD that i finished all the assignments for the semester - what a GREAT relief :D and i can fully concentrate on the work which awaits me in the month of nov and dec.. woah.. went to doulos 4 times within 1 week! first time was with the CFgirls and the youth in St. John's Chapel. The message was about missions!
2nd time was with Jolene and Hwee Ping :p I was asked to play the keyboard onboard the ship for a chinese christian missions partnership meeting. I gladly took it up cos i thought it'll be a great opportunity to know more mandarin christian songs. The people spoke really chim chinese. haa.. Marnell brought Hwee Ping, Jolene and I for a short tour in Doulos. And we met up with Bernard and Olga for lunch :) whheeeeeee..me love the sausages!
3rd time was for get_a_life.com with gloria, pris tan, kit huan, eunice and rung! and the blue eyes guy was sitting just next to kit huan la! haaa (that's sooo besides the point) the electricity went off twice cos the generator had some problems and it was PITCH DARK! But the speaker who was sharing the message spoke so poignantly that when Jesus comes back again, everything stops! EVERYTHING will END.. and i hope this really hits to all who were present - to seriously think about the things which we're building up
4th time was with 81 children frm Joy Children's Club and 36 adults! it was evangelistic!!! i had a totally enjoyable time there! wah.. amazing! God really really helped us out tremendously. I thank HIM for everything which fell in place. HE is the one who orchestrated all the stuff..
i met up with Gloria, Elaine and Enoch on the 17th nov 06 to buy camp stuff for the coming children camp. I was alone for a while at the fresh food market segment of sheng shiong at tekka mall and i saw this small, really chubby, big-eyed indian boy (about 4years old) standing at the side with many bags of food which were paid. i think maybe his mom went to buy more stuff and had asked him to wait and jaga the food. And 2 catholic nuns who are senior citizens stopped by him and started talking to him..
nun 1: ooh!!! so cute and chubby
[and she reached out towards his CHEEKS and PINCHED HIM HARD!]
~boy GLARED EXTREMELY HARD at her (i would have thought he was about to bite her or something)
nun1: wah.. so cute (eventhough he was still glaring).. what's yr name?
boy: .... [still glaring]
nun2: oh.. it's okie... i think he is just tooo shy!! so cute
boy: .... [glared really really hard]
if looks could kill, i think a murder would have already taken place..
the nuns left and the boy called out to his mom and was on the verge of crying..
i would too if i were him!

SMPS chapel visit! taken near the school hall, together with Rev Ong, Auntie June (his wife) and Soo Bin (the chaplain's assistant) - Mr Lim, Auntie Eileen, Auntie Serene, Rachel and Hastuti went too! as some of you know, i'll be going for a mission trip to thailand this dec
next week need to pay money for the airtickets
so kinda talked to GOD about it
and 3 minutes later, i received this sms fr a friend...
Hide: "hey sista! (: is it ok if i help u pay for your trip to thailand?"
my reply: "huh? Wah, i''m dumbfounded by God. Why He answers prayers so fast?"
3 minutes leh!!! *instant noodles also not that fast!
so..
I'm dumbfounded by GOD
PRAISE HIM! He's awesome :)
*disclaimer: it is simply an analogy to describe how GOD replied in this situation. Our attitude to GOD should never be a "fast food" theology whereby we demand immediate or instanteous replies fr God to our prayers?
