this is Zoe and Upa (thank you Maria[my BFF's mudder] for the correct spelling. hee) :) ZOE's my BFF! (the one with her tongue sticking out.lol) aaaaaaahh.. she is SWEETNESS personified.
2 days back i saw her outside the library and i called out to her and she called out "BFF" and with all her might ran towards me, up the stairs and gave me a huge warm hug!
*heart melt* aiaaayaaaaii.
and of course i couldn't resist and gave her a peck on her cheeks! she laughed and wondered if she tasted salty cos she was skipping with Upa. hilarious. my reply to her was that she tasted absolutely yummy :)
BFF's mommy, Maria told me on FB that BFF really likes me. i am super-duperly delighted.
was packing and filing my readings and notes and came across an article which quoted Cardinal Basil Hume

I'm supposed to be OT theo-ing about generational blessings and curses but felt slightly more inclined to blog. And so, yea, I'm going on a guilt-free blogging spreeeeeeeeee [since it's the holidays *huge grin*]
pic above: my beloved pals in TTC. I really thank the Lord for each and everyone of them. it's really exciting to know what the Lord is doing in their lives. it's our final year in TTC and i will definitely miss them. many ppl have commented that the batch i'm in, is really united and cooperative. and i totally agree with that. in fact, i think we're beyond that. many of us have forged strong bonds which are extremely encouraging. it's really beautiful to see kinships blossom over the months and years of suffering, ops did I say that out loud, let me rephrase, bitter-sweet times of persevering together as we plough through the piles of readings and assignments chiong-ing.

celebrated Granny's bday at Westlake on the 8th August 2008; thereafter a few of us headed to PartyWorld for K-ing.
and I was pleasantly surprised that Granny was so ethu about it. she was actively jiving along with the shaker and tambourine *jaw drop*
at one point, she even cha-cha-ed with my aunties!
btw she's 87 years young and i think she's the funkiest granny around. who knows she might have been a party queen back in Phuket.
I remember her sharing that my grandfather was supposed to marry her older sister but then, guess who caught my grandfather's heart? *grin*
went with her to Lot 1 to catch money not enough II 2 weeks back :) and i really enjoyed the time with her. there were a lot of senior citizens and i kinda felt that i was watching 2 movies that day - one of cos was the big screen, the other was the interaction my granny had with the other senior citizens. one would comment about something (quite loudly) and the rest would either agree or add on.
ahhh.. i think when one's of a certain age, one can get away with almost any thing - like having conversations with strangers in the cinema theatre OUT LOUD.

Le En's only 4 this year and she can hold a conversation really well.
and I'm really proud of her during TTC's cultural night cos she played the violin for the whole college!

visited her at her place a few weeks back and she was really excited to play the violin for me (but i think i was even more excited); thereafter followed by a short game.
she was really sweet! sweeter than melted marshmallows on apple strudel sprinkled with millions of mulit-coloured chocolate rice
actually she's a bit camera shy so i'm usually delighted, well, okie, that was an understatement, over the moon, whenever she allows me to take pics of her.
ahh.. wat a joy to be with her - whhhhhhhhhhhheeeeeee
