i am so thankful for toilet bowls ... you would if you were me.

i accidentally took POTENT cheese on sunday and had one whole day of runs yesterday.
didn't know that it would be that bad; i mean i know i'm lactose intolerant but i havent have that bad of an experiences before. a couple of pple actually told me i looked pale. and i was so zombified that i actually took a library reference book by mistake together with my whole stack of ethics books on pacifism and just war. and the alarm amazingly didn't go off. and i only realised it when i came back from dinner. which by then, library had already closed.
told Gladys jokingly that i might have done a BIG favour for the reference book which might not have had the chance of stepping out of TTC library (it could have been there for the last 5 years!) if it wasnt for me. maybe it was like library break for it. but poor thing, my room is also not any better.

took loads of water to replenish.

i thank God for a conversation i had over msn last evening. it was hard initally but i think things eventually turned out for the better (:

read Ps 143 this morning - and it ministered to me a lot! reminds me that i am human and fallible but God is faithful and merciful.

happiness to the max! finished my last exam for this semester, which means it's the LAST exam of my studies here in TTC. wrote till hand turned sore cos had one the previous day, plus all the revision - imagine trying to regurgitate everything in 1 hour. i was trying my best to write as legibly and as fast as I could. in fact i was quite satisfied with my answers :)

headed to Jurong Point's kushin-bo and had an hour long feast with my Family Group.
we were all really focused!
and of course we attacked the salmon first.

3 final term papers, 1 sermon and 1 book reading assignment - 28 days to go.
and i've only just started on one term paper.

mossvalcummm: [noun] muscular pain or pains in any part of the body

a word i conjured while msn-ing with maggie 2 days back cos both of us were hvg excruciating pains in our necks and shoulders.
apparently, most TTC students suffer from this during this period of assignments and exams due to heavy usage of pc/laptop of any kind..
mac book users are not exempted.

and for the fun of it all, i googled it.

what a lovely surprise :)

met up with eunice for lunch at subway (railmall) to pass her my guitar. and just when she was about to leave, Gerry dropped by and gave me a HUGE surprise - a sony ericsson C902 [5.0 megapixel].

*gasp*
I totally didn't expect it at all. like not the least bit. well, my old phone is faulty (cos i dropped it during the holidays and I was perfectly fine with using the earpiece for conversation as the receiver's spoilt) and the contract's up only in april next week.

in short i was really surprised.

ahh.. *overwhelmed*

but i must qualify myself first, i was happier to see the giver than the gift, not that i was not happy with the gift but nothing beats the giver. the giver and the gift is not synonymous (and by this i'm referring to a particular preacher's sermon viewed during homiletics class which we all kinda hamtam-ed his content)

well, after Gerry left, I joined Shirley at Coffee bean's to mug for Christian Ethics and i just can't stop smilling to myself. I think I must have looked really silly then.

thanks Gerry for the very lovely surprise :) really means a lot... now I can take more pictures!

btw, he got the exact phone for himself too.. FREE! some M1 promotion thingy.

"Transcendence

" best describes how I feel right now regarding exams & assignments. not that I don't care about them but it's this "I'm doing my best and I'm leaving it all to God" mentality
I've got one more exams and 4 more papers to go.

Studied hard for Christian Ethics exams; actually I kinda enjoyed reading it; ministered to me alot!
eg. St. Augustine's dictum - Love, and do what you will - love for God will translate into obedience to His will and command. Well, this came out for the exams :)

Zoe came over last evening and we had a great time watching "Happy Feet"! As you can see, Mao Mao and Lovely enjoyed themselves too :)
And thanks to Maria, now I can smell the same as my BFF cos we both now use The Body Shop's Strawberry body gel.
