raph and di's wedding :p
was really good meeting up with chums from secondary school - all so pretty and sweet.
and it was school-themed wedding so we had stuff like name tags
di and da: thank you soo much for being a wonderful part of my life.
and i'm always proud to be part of the "no french fries can die" club

realised that i was at cityhall area many many times this past week
sat - Di's wedding at Chjmes
sun - Cove Red's EP launch at Sg Arts House
mon - farewell lunch for John & Angie then walked from Suntec to Cityhall to Bugis (with Maggie) and back to Cityhall again
tues - went to see Angie off at the airport then walked with Maggie, Jackson and Lily from Dhoby Ghaut to Asian Civilisation Museum, then to TCC at Clarke Quay then walked to Orchard - Dempsey - Holland Village
loads of walking. i like!
went to swim at CCK sports complex today and suddenly there was this 15 mins of WAVES. yup. choppy waves.
was stunned for a moment but it was cool.

wad a lovely picture that speaks of fun and freedom.
this little girl dancing reminds me of the hymn Lord of the Dance
Dance, then, wherever you may be,

really need the Lord to guide my every step in this dance of life
had initially thought that i would have more time for myself after handing in all my assignments and realised that it aint going to happen any time soon.
quite a short run way for the 2 projects at hand but i'm just going to hand it back to God.
but on the other hand, i am thankful for God's enabling and empowerment; for all the people whom he sent along the way to help and encourage.
during family dinner just now, Vincent dished out his iphone and showed us a picture of a few of our toddlers in little lambs' celebrating one of their bday and they had this gigantic cake.
and TNH poignantly highlighted the fact if the kids in mae salit would ever have such privileges.
my heart just sank when he said that
that just so true.
i mean some of them may not even know when their dates of birth are.
TNH suggested for me to learn how to bake cakes in the most simple way (due to limited resources available) and he volunteered to decorate them so that we can celebrate monthly with the kids.
think it's such a brilliant idea

no longer bothered by any nagging feeling about undone assignments/presentations/exams.
all's completed.
dark clouds have dispersed.
i had to fill in TTC records of community involvement and spiritual formation (THAT yellow file - all TTC students know THAT file) today and i realised that i ran out of pages and had to ask for extra pages. it's my second time asking.
7 years in TTC, no wonder the extra pages.
getting a clearer idea why the metaphor of dark clouds dispersing? >< not an exaggeration
[note: not a complaint either. just a statement - the rigours of studies was quite enjoyable]
BFF Zoe called and asked to meet at 330pm and I was glad we did.
Spoke to Andrew (Ge and FG mentor) about quite a no. of issues when handing in THAT yellow file and i was glad we did.
Shirley called up and said that her family dinner's been called off and so we met at coffee bean's for dinner and i was glad we did.
GLAD.
totally like the podcast done by TNH. ha. sent me laughing out loud at 330 in the morning.
